Missions. Why do we do them? The Bible says, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world” (James 1:27).

New Life’s missions work began by helping children in 2004 , following the tragic events in Beslan, Russia where hundreds of innocent school children were killed by terrorists. Since that time, we have been privileged to serve thousands of children in numerous countries – striving to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Here is a glimpse of our most recent projects:

  • In 2005 we visited ten orphanages in Ukraine and personally distributed l,500 presents to children during the Christmas season.
  • In 2006 we helped to send a 40 foot container with clothing, medicine and some toys to orphans in Ukraine.
  • In 2007 we helped hundreds of orphans in Kazakhstan. These children received shoes, clothes, and food, ovens, a refrigerator, and also a computer for educational needs.
  • In 2008, we organized summer camps in Moldova and in Kyrgyzstan, supplied badly needed hygiene items, and helped with shoes and clothing.
  • In 2009 we went to Tajikistan where we gave out 2,000+ Christmas presents, hundreds of blankets to keep the kids warm during the frigid winter, and distributed food and clothing.
  • In 2010 we help children in eight orphanages in Kazakhstan.
  • In 2011 our teams of volunteers helped children in Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Estonia.
  • In 2012, we sent volunteers to orphanages in both Moldova and Kazakhstan
  • in 2013, two teams set out to aid the less fortunate in Moldova in both the summer time and the winter time.
  • In 2014, again our team set out to help the under privileged in Moldova both in the summer and winter.
  • In 2015, multiple volunteers visited orphanages and provided aid to the under privileged in Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.
  • In 2016, our volunteers helped orphanages in Moldova
  • in 2017, multiple teams conducted summer camps for children and helped orphans in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.
  • In 2018, we had multiple trips to help children in Moldova and Ukraine.
